Description:
Small and family-owned, this attractive plantation-style inn has a West Indian style with a feel of French country. Owner Annie Ange Turbe was formerly a restauranteur who decided to open an inn when she moved her business out of the island center of Gustavia. Now her guests and those who venture out to the Baie des Flamands are the ones who benefit from her gastronomic expertise.
The hotel, located on this lovely clear bay, is small, but attractive with bright airy rooms, newly decorated and each with kitchenettes located--as the French love to do it--outside on the porch, complete with microwaves. The rooms have TV, phones and sitting areas.
The gray and white building complements the blue water and sky to create a crisp, clear feeling, especially as you sit in the outdoor dining area on the seafront near the pool savoring the lobster of your choice from the tank. The floors are done in Mexican tile. It's a quiet, simple, beautiful place.
